Static Career Fair- 2016-2017
Government Polytechnic, Jintur, Dist. Parbhani has organized a Static Career Fair- 2016-2017 on 04th January, 2017, at our Polytecnic Campus, in co-ordination with and sponsored by M.S.B.T.E., Mumbai and Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. The Dignitaries were Mr.Anil T. Kamble, DySP, Jintur, Mrs. Sabiyaa Begum, President, Municipal Council, Jintur, for this function.
Mr. R.K.Sawant, Principal, Government Polytechnic, Hingoli, informed the students about the intention behind arranging Career Fair for School Children. Dr.K.B.Ladhane, Head of Civil Engineering, Government Polytechnic, Jintur, informed the students about various schemes run by M.S.B.T.E, Mumbai. Mr. B.S.Kulkarni, Lect. In Electronics, Government Polytechnic, Jintur, informed the students about eligibility, CAP Rounds and first Year Admission process.
Six Hundred students from different schools of Jintur city and nearby villages were benefited through this Static Career Fair- 2016-2017. Stalls were made available for different institutes to inform the students about facilities and eligibility criteria for admission. All the students along with their parents and teachers visited these stalls and collected required information.
Mr.S.S.Prabhune, Principal, Government Polytechnic, Jintur, presented his vote of thanks. The Static Career Fair ended with the National Anthem.
Workshop on Cashless Event
Government Polytechnic Jintur has started its expedition to make aware people about cashless transactions, under the parential guidance of Dr. H.P. Taskar, Principal, Government Polytechnic Jintur and useful co-operation by Prof. S.S. Prabhune, Head of Department, Electronics and Telecommunication and all staff members. Mr. A.K. Rathod, Coordinator, Computer Department has formed a team of Lecturers C.V.Nandanwar, A.N. Yadav along with staff member K J Ramtake and students of third year computers P.M. Gaikwad, S.R. Hatkar, S.S. Bapure, V.V. Arthamwar, S.P. Jadhav, V.A. Biradar, G.B. Gaikwad, S.S. Chavan, A.V. Damkondwar, D.W. Kokadwar, K.P. Rathod, M.G. Patel to aware the people about cashless transactions.
The first move taken by this team was at kehal on 13th January 2017, a villege of about 14 k.m. away from G.P. Jintur and having near about 5000 population, of which 75% populations is educated but as like every one out here in kehal we found people are ready to do cashless transactions but due to insufficient technical knowledge, they do not dare to do so. Our team of G.P. Jintur approached them, took the permission about a workshop on cashless transaction from the sarpanch Mr. Rameshwar Ghuge and went to the villege kehal on 13th January 2017, 10.30 am.
A hands-on workshop was organised at a temple in the kehal villege by our staff members and students with the help of villegers. Prof. Nandanwar introduced the purpose behind workshop, Prof. Rathod explained the process of, how to start cashless transactions by using plastic money, he told about POS machine, ATM and all latest interbanking activities. Prof. Yadav told them about the need of cashless transactions, black money and the policy of government to start cashless transactions. Finally students of final year computer started a handson session to the villegers.
All of them formed a group of 4 to 5 villegers and gave the live demonstration by using various applications like PAYTM, SBI touch, SBI Buddy, NUUP, NPCI transactions. All the participants enjoyed handson training and at the end, Prof Rathod presented vote of thanks on behalf of principal, G.P. Jintur. The participants also assured about doing the cashless transactions in future.
Computer engineering Industiral Visit
Computer engineering , third year, students successfully visited at Akashwani Kendra, Parbhani with our faculty members Mr. D. R. Pardhi & Mr. K.J.Ramteke Students collected the information about industry and got technical knowledge with working environment of industry.
Resource Persons at industry guided the students.Initially Head of Akashvani Kendra Mr. Budhvare. assigned faculty for guiding us. Mr. V.D.Garud who is the Senior Assistant Engineer who explained initially about Control Room from where overall controlling about all functions like radio, FM, channels, studio & other related work takes place. Various units like Dubbing, Recording, Live studio, Satellite antenna, Tape Library are connected to Control Room. In dubbing unit Ms. Pallavi Kavthekar guided students. At Takli akashwani unit students were guided by Mr.B.S. Thombre who is again Senior Assistant Engineer.
Similarly ,Computer engineering , second year, students successfully visited at Sundarlal Savji Arban Sahkari Bank,Jintur with our faculty members Mr. S.S.Patil.& Mr. D. R. Pardhi
Bank Manager Mr. Jaibhane at bank guided the students. He has explained regarding computer server, computer networking , different software’s used in bank. He also explained different departments in bank as well as their working. Faculty members Mr. S.S.Patil.& Mr. D. R. Pardhi also explained the networking concepts for banking environments.
